The first steps to reversing the effects of trauma are to have a full understanding of those effects in impacts.  In this webinar we will detail those effects and impacts, along with the changes in our cognitive functioning, emotional responses, and changes we experience in our bodies.

You will learn why a phased approach works best for recovering our full cognitive functions, calm our emotions and getting our bodies back to normal. There are specific processes and exercises have been proven to work for each phase, but only if done in the right order. We will show you how recognize which phase you're in and how to progress through the phases to speed up the reversal process.

The exercises and processes you will learn will help you now, and in any future situations where you encounter challenges.

Why Should You Attend

Our nervous systems have evolved strategies to protect us when we have to deal with challenges, threats, and emotional turmoil that occurs periodically and infrequently. When those challenges become frequent or chronic, our nervous system changes and adapts to protect us from what it perceives to be a chronically threatening environment. These threats can take the form of financial, job, relationship, or health insecurity. When we are in constant worry about our money, job, relationships, or health, our nervous system perceives these as threats and gets overloaded.

We go into “survival” mode as the nervous system adapts in ways that can become permanent if not addressed. There is a whole range of effects that can result from being chronically in survival mode, including short and long term memory loss, inability to focus and concentrate, emotional overwhelm or emotional numbing (not being able to feel much), hyper-vigilance (overly focussed on potential danger or threats), increased anxiety, body pain, headaches, and other physical symptoms, sleeping and eating disruptions, increased startle response, intrusive memories and nightmares are just some of the effects of being exposed to frequently perceived threats.
