Difficult conversations can paralyze us. We detour, dance, and delegate around anything that may position us to be forced into having this type of conversation. This session will show participants how to make the most difficult of conversations easier, whether you are a manager or supervisor and whether they are your boss or your administrative support.  It will outline typical conversational patterns, how and why we avoid certain conversations, and ultimately how to move beyond the fear into what needs to be said. We will map out the requirements necessary to have the right conversation in the right mood at the right time. The outcome will be an easier and more strategic blueprint of how to manage these conversations and allow managers to have more direct and comfortable interactions with employees.
